Terms of Service
Effective date: May 4, 2026 · Last updated: May 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Sol Connection (“Sol Connection,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the Southern California water-treatment arm of Honest Water Co., governing your use of cleanwaterconnect.com (the “Site”), our SMS and voice programs, our chat widget, and any installation, repair, or service work we perform for you (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Site or Services, by providing your phone number to receive text messages, or by signing installation paperwork, you accept these Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Site or Services. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to use the Services. You represent that any information you provide is accurate and that you have the authority to authorize installation work at the address you provide.
2. Acceptable use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use of the Site. You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, our systems, or any account that is not yours; introduce malware; scrape the Site for automated republishing; reverse-engineer the Site; or impersonate any person or entity.
3. SMS program terms (A2P 10DLC)
Sol Connection operates a one-to-one and application-to-person text-messaging program registered for the 10DLC ecosystem. These SMS Terms supplement the rest of these Terms and govern all text messages sent or received through the program.
3.1 Program description
The Sol Connection SMS program sends transactional and promotional text messages to mobile numbers that have provided prior express written consent. Transactional messages include appointment confirmations and reminders, technician arrival notifications, follow-up after service, billing notices, warranty registration, and replies to customer-service inquiries you initiate. Promotional messages include flash sales, new-product announcements, financing offers, and service-area expansion alerts.
3.2 Consent
By submitting your mobile phone number through a Sol Connection web form, by checking the SMS-consent checkbox during a quote, by replying to a Sol Connection number with the word START, YES, or UNSTOP, or by otherwise affirmatively opting in (for example, signing an authorization form), you provide your prior express written consent under the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 (47 U.S.C. § 227) and California state law to receive recurring autodialed and pre-recorded calls and text messages from Sol Connection or our agents at the mobile number you provided. Consent to receive promotional messages is not a condition of any purchase. You represent that the mobile number you provide is yours or that you are authorized to provide it.
3.3 Message frequency
Up to 10 messages per month per active inquiry or installation. Frequency may vary based on your interaction with Sol Connection (for example, scheduling, rescheduling, technician arrival, or warranty claims).
3.4 Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Sol Connection does not charge for text messages, but your carrier may. Check your wireless plan for details.
3.5 Opt out
You can opt out of promotional messages at any time. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any Sol Connection text message and you will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed. You will receive no further promotional messages. You may continue to receive transactional messages directly related to a scheduled appointment or active service order. To opt out of all messages including transactional, contact us at (951) 383-6421.
3.6 Help
Reply HELP or INFO to any Sol Connection text message for support, or contact us at (951) 383-6421 or support@cleanwaterconnect.com.
3.7 Supported carriers
The program is compatible with major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, Sprint, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to carrier and device support.
3.8 Automated and AI-assisted messages
Some messages are sent by automated systems, including text-messaging platforms operated by service providers on our behalf. Sol Connection may use AI tools to draft, summarize, translate, or personalize text and email messages. A human representative reviews material communications before they are sent in any non-routine matter, and you may request a human representative at any time by replying with a question or by calling us. Use of automation or AI does not change our consent practices or your right to opt out at any time.
3.9 SMS privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted. All other categories exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect SMS-related information.
4. Voice calls and call recording
By providing your phone number you consent to receive autodialed or pre-recorded calls from Sol Connection or our agents about your inquiry, appointment, installation, or warranty. California is a two-party consent state for call recording; if we record a call you will be notified at the start of the call and you can ask not to be recorded. Recordings are retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Quotes, pricing, and promotions
Quotes are good for the period stated on the quote (typically 7 to 30 days) and assume the system configuration described. Promotional pricing (including any percentage-off sale shown on the Site) is valid for the dates indicated and may be changed, paused, or withdrawn at any time. Final pricing is confirmed in writing before installation. Pricing does not include applicable sales tax, permit fees, or work outside the agreed scope (for example, additional plumbing modifications, electrical upgrades, drainage rerouting, or code-compliance work discovered during installation). Any such additional work will be quoted separately and approved by you before it is performed.
6. Installation services
Installation is performed by Sol Connection technicians or by licensed subcontractors operating under our supervision. You are responsible for providing safe access to the work site, accurate information about your home’s plumbing and electrical systems, and any required permissions from landlords, HOAs, or co-owners. We will leave the work area clean and operational on completion. Where municipal permits or inspections are required, we will obtain them at the cost shown on the quote.
7. Warranties
Equipment we install is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as stated on your installation paperwork. In addition, our installation workmanship is warranted as described on your installation paperwork. EXCEPT FOR THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED IN YOUR INSTALLATION PAPERWORK AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES THAT CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER CALIFORNIA LAW (INCLUDING THE SONG-BEVERLY CONSUMER WARRANTY ACT WHERE APPLICABLE), THE SITE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” AND SOL CONNECTION DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.
8. Cancellation, returns, and three-day right to cancel
For installation contracts solicited at your home, California law (the Home Solicitation Sales Act, Cal. Civ. Code § 1689.5 et seq.) provides a three-business-day right to cancel the contract. The exact cancellation procedure is described in your installation paperwork and includes a written notice of cancellation that you may use. Cancellation requests must be received within the cancellation period. After installation has begun with your written consent or after the cancellation period has passed, our standard return and refund terms apply as described in your installation paperwork.
9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOL CONNECTION’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SOL CONNECTION FOR THE SERVICES THAT GAVE RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOL CONNECTION IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, fraud, personal injury, or violations of California consumer-protection statutes.
10. Indemnification
You will indemnify and hold harmless Sol Connection and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and affiliates from and against any third-party claim arising out of (a) your breach of these Terms, (b) your misuse of the Site or Services, or (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, except to the extent caused by Sol Connection’s own negligence or misconduct.
11. Intellectual property
The Site and its content (including text, graphics, logos, photographs, illustrations, and software) are owned by Sol Connection or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. All other rights are reserved.
12. Third-party services and links
The Site uses third-party services, including a booking-and-scheduling widget, a chat widget, payment processors, and analytics. Your use of those services may be governed by the third party’s own terms and privacy policy. The Site may also contain links to other websites that we do not control; we are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date and, where required by law, with additional notice. Your continued use of the Site or Services after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Services that is not resolved by the parties informally must be brought in a state or federal court located in Riverside County, California, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts. Nothing in this section deprives you of the right to file a complaint with a California state agency or to pursue remedies under California consumer-protection laws.
15. Severability and waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.
16. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or any rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without notice.
17. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any installation paperwork or written quote you sign, are the entire agreement between you and Sol Connection regarding the Site and Services and supersede all prior agreements on the same subject.
